Aviagen VR Training Academy

Aviagen approached us to develop a concept to use VR for their upcoming customer training academy. Aviagen provides poultry breeding stock to corporate customers globally. Their farms meet the most rigorous standards of cleanliness, safety and bird welfare.

Part of this is strict adherence to biosecurity protocol. This means means it’s neither practical or desirable to organize customer visits on-site.

The brief was to incorporate Virtual Reality into their training academy.  Setup a way for customers to tour the facilities and farms using a synchronized VR presentation.

Aviagen VR Seminar

Touring state of the art facilities that are closed to visitors.

At short notice we were able to provide a setup a synchronized playback system with Oculus Go headsets for all 70 attendees. With our team of VR staff and our partners Showtime VR  everyone to share the same experience.

We wanted attendees to, “Take a step into an Aviagen farm”.  This could deepen the learning experience by seeing a farm in New Zealand in action from Bangkok.

The user can look all around at the facilities as details and areas of interest are pointed out presenters. Feedback from the attendees was fantastic. It wasn’t just a talking point but a shared experience that some said really felt like being there.

We look forward to developing this pilot project so expect to see more of this exciting innovation at future Aviagen events. Get in touch If you are interested in using VR for your marketing activities.
